Interview with Lance Weber, Libertarian Candidate for State Representative (39th District)

Often overlooked in the political debate is the fact that voters have more than just two choices in many races.

This weeks guest is Lance Weber, who is running on the Libertarian ticket for the Missouri House of Representatives in the 39th District (Kansas City). Weber is an attorney who is making his first run for public office.

Citing inspiration from Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul, Weber states that he is "running to affect change" and appeals to his fellow Ron Paul supporters to consider the Libertarian Party as a political home.

While Republican and Democratic candidates often differ over how the state government should provide health care, Weber takes a different approach by saying "ideally, the government should have little to do with health care." He goes on to call for easing restrictions on both traditional and alternative health care.
