Identity Theft, The Impact of Environmental Regulations and New CCW Laws

(Columbia, MO) Who tends to go the longest before realizing they are a victim of identity theft? Would proposed new federal regulations impact your electric bill? How do changes in Missouris laws on concealed weapons affect you?

We answer these questions in this weeks Missouri Viewpoints.

Mike Odneal manages the Better Business Bureaus office in Columbia and says young adults college age in particular are often the slowest to realize they are victims of identity theft. Both young people and their parents need to hear Mikes advice on protecting yourself now and for your financial future.

Many new laws take effect on August 28th and that includes changes to the already-complex conceal and carry weapons permits regulations. Captain Tim Hull from the Missouri State Highway Patrol guides us through those changes.

Former US Senator Christopher Kit Bond stopped by the studio. He may be out of elected office, but hes not done working on issues affecting Missourians. Bond says some proposed regulations from the EPA could kill jobs and raise your utility bills. Well talk regulations and renewable energy and what it means to you.

In addition, Steve Pomeranz has investing advice in the On The Money Minute report and Steve Troxel has our minute of inspiration with the weekend devotional.
